The playful smile soon transformed into a smirk, his golden orbs looking the fully clothed girl up and down several times as she crept her way into the dimly room. For a split second he caught her eyes; the ginger haired girl was obviously doing the same thing as him, and to be honest, he didn’t mind at all. There was something about attention, even in the slightest way, was wonderful, something he never really got once behind the secure walls of his own family. Being the third oldest, with two absolutely perfect sister whom couldn’t possibly hurt a fly with their perfectly manicured tips and four messy, babbling, and slightly annoying in his own opinion other siblings, attention was something he soon adapted to crave. But it was also something that Annabelle provided him with; each peck on his chapped lips from her berry glossed ones, or cherry red painted nail slowly trailing down his back was an ounce of captivating, thrilling attention. Shifting his weight on the mattress, Connor kicked the thin, ivory sheets from the tops of his feet, a subconscious act he had done in the midst of watching the girl make her way into the middle of the room. He continued to follow her, taking in her every seductive move.
“I’d rather watch you,” He commented, wiggling his brows in her direction. He tracked her movements towards the bed, slight tingles beginning in his toes as he shifted his position. Craning his neck upwards, the boy met the opposite pair of lips halfway, smearing a small amount of colored gloss onto the side of his lip. The movements were small and short, light and chaste. To him it wasn’t a powerful embrace, something that he would use for pure, sexual desire; it was a sweet, innocent kiss as to say hello, or in his case, a small, silent plea to scream ‘I love you’ to the girl whom his heart belonged to, but was too scared of being ruined to openly admit it. His tongue poked at the corner of his mouth once the kiss was broken, fingers running lightly underneath to remove the small remains of flavored gloss from his skin.
His arm muscles contracted as he pushed his body from its resting position on the bed, swinging his toned legs over the side and allowing them to sway back and fourth slightly over the carpet. The side of his tongue lapped at the side of his lip, gliding over his bottom lip seconds later as yet another article of clothing hit the floor. His breathe hitched slightly, causing a small cough to escape from the back of his throat as he stood from the bed, trailing behind her and kicking the stray articles of clothing into a small, contained but messy pile. Though he didn’t exactly look like the type, and most of the time he wasn’t, Connor had a slight habit of forbidding things from getting too messy. Whether it be wiping down the table after downing a sandwich and soda, or simply piling a few clothes into the corner of the room to prevent them from crowding the floor - he did it. Nodding and biting down on his rosy bottom lip, the brunette boy caught up with the strawberry blonde at the door, wrapping his long arms around her bare torso. “It’s not like you have anything better to do,” He whispered, breath hot on her neck as he slowly started placing kisses along her jawline, walking her into the bathroom whilst continuing the act further down her neck. “Fifty Shades of Grey has nothing on me.” The words were mumbled between touches, his speed picking up slightly as the actions became rougher. The pads of his fingers ran down her back, pulling her closer with each movement. Bare skin touched bare skin, flesh pressing against other flesh as the two stood there for a moment more, his lips grazing the soft, pallid skin of her neck. “C’mon,” He whispered as he pulled away, hand slowly snaking around her body, searching for fingers to loop with. His bare feed padded across the tiled floor, reaching down slightly to twist the knob of the shower off, hot water and steam filling the small room.
The moderately hot and clammy atmosphere of the pool had begun to take effect as the slim waisted girl advanced up the steps of the iron ladder nailed sternly to the pool’s cemented wall. The minuscule droplets of water tickled as they rolled gradually down the girl’s slender, lightly tanned legs. “Nothings gonna jump out and eat you, I swear.” Her words were fun loving, her crystal orbs bright and playful as she sauntered elegantly across the damp tiles that made up the indoor pool’s terrain. It was obvious the strawberry blonde had an issue with germs in general. Whether it was her denying to accept a half eaten burger, using an excessive amount of hand sanitizer after touching a public door handle, or even a task as simple as trying on clothes in a store’s fitting room. Jacey and Annabelle weren’t necessarily the best of friends, but they’d hung out more than enough to get a good feel on each other. As irritating the younger girl’s actions could very possibly be to certain others, they were quite amusing to the golden haired girl. How one could be so analytical and still befriend another as recklace as herself, but then again; opposites attract.
Temperatures went from the comfortable seventy one degrees to over one hundred in less than the twenty seconds it took the light haired girl to step into the hot watered tub. “Ah..” She muttered, smiling to herself as she let out a soft breath while sitting herself promptly on the edge of the curved seating bench of the Jacuzzi. The tranquil water of the tub felt nice, the above average temperature feeling more blazing as it was being contrasted with the much cooler temperature source of the swimming pool. “There’s a button literally right behind you, babe.” She chuckled, leaning herself against the side of the rounded hot tub edge before moving her attention over to the coral haired girl, the red button sitting slightly to her right. “All you do it press the button and like magic the jets start.” Her words were sarcastic, but there was the slightest hint of mock behind them. As she began to tilt her head back and allow her peaceful thoughts to spill into her mind again, the creaking sound of the pool’s main entrance sounded in her ears, causing her attention to tear from her own mind and to the door where the janitor wearing a hard expression had entered.
“Shit.” she spit, reaching forward to grab the fair skinned girl’s wrist, pulling her out of the small tub as she lead her out, the janitor’s first shout sounding in her ear. “He’s not a nice man and he’ll bring us straight to the boss. I hope you’re a good runner.” Her words were spoken under her breath as she hastily made her way to the towels, grabbing both and throwing one back to the coral haired girl behind her and accelerating towards the women’s changing room as she knew there was a door leading back into the main lobby. The janitors heavy footsteps could be heard as she approached the changing rooms, her eyes focused ahead until she reached the safety of the concrete wall, only looking then to see if she’d lost her partner in crime. Of course, the one day she’d invited an accomplice along is the day the janitor decided to actually be on time for clean up. The soft sounding, quick footsteps of the bright eyed girl could be heard as she closed in on the changing room, Jacey’s expression shifting from pestered to a playful one as she stepped back; waiting for the moment she could see the girl’s reflection in the glass door before jumping out in hopes for a quick scare. “Boo!” Giggles followed soon after her outburst, her hand clutching her stomach once she’d taken in the shocked expression of the ginger as she stepped closer to turn the lock on the door.
“Alright, c’mon. Before he finds his keys.” She chuckled, the sly grin still playing over her lips as she held her hand out for the fresh faced girl to take. Others may see the gesture of a hand as polite, but as Jacey held her hand out for the girl to take, it was an act of loyalty. Annabelle was her friend and she wasn’t planning on leaving her behind.
Just as Annabelle found the so-called button that would turn jets on, she noticed the alarming tone in Jacey’s voice, so she kept her eyes glued on her for any sign of what was going on. Getting up when Jacey grabbed her wrist she knew exactly what was going on now. They had been caught which wasn’t the most calming for the redhead to hear but she kept her cool anyway. Even if they did manage to get caught something would save both their asses from loosing the jobs both girls seemed to adore — and the perks that come with it of course. Annabelle was surprisingly calm for somebody who was potentially going to loose her job. Maybe the thrill of having to run to save your own ass was taking effect on the strawberry-blonde. Annabelle remembered the janitor and came to the conclusion she wasn’t his biggest fan. He always seemed to grouchy, like loosen up. You live in a ski-resort and half of your job is done for you anyway — snow melts. The girl couldn’t get her head around the fact that sometimes people are grouchy for no apparent reason. Especially if they were the snitching kind too. So Annabelle thought it was best to get a move on — she wasn’t in the mood to be sassy if she got caught even though Jacey would probably do most of the talking.
Catching the towel from Jacey she fumbled to get it around her figure. Finally wrapping it around her and tucking it in on itself, she looked up to find Jacey gone. But she knew where she was heading, there was no other possible route without 1. Making a noise. And 2. Running into the janitor himself. Her pupils now dilated she scanned the floor to make sure it wasn’t wet, the last thing she needed was to slip over. Annabelle scampered from her position towards the female changing rooms. Maybe she wouldn’t find Jacey but it would sure allow her to hide until the Janitor was gone. Her pace started to slow down as she got sight of the woman’s changing rooms. Her eyes checked the space for Jacey as her she fell into a slow jog. Walking around to where she remembered there was an exit she was greeted with a loud “Boo!” from Jacey. “Gosh! Don’t even.” is all Annabelle could manage out from the surprise of her close friend. Pushing her lightly she moved the strands of hair that were starting to dry out of her face. When Annabelle had a grip on the taller girls hand, she followed Jacey out of the pool area, closing the door as softly as possible, trying not to alert the janitor as them ever being there.
“Well, that got my blood pumping,” Annabelle teased as she had an idea. Even though the midnight swimming had come to a close and it was probably nearing to about 1am, she was nowhere near ready for bed. And by the grin that was still plastered across the honey blonde, nor was she. Annabelle led the girl to the lobby — deserted just how she was hoping to find it. Annabelle walked over to the bar area and shrugged to herself. “They won’t miss a bottle or two,” she mumbled to herself as she jimmied the plan of wood that connected the bar from one side to the other. Sterling showed her how to do it a while ago just in case he was out on break. Annabelle knew the history between the both of them so she decided to take the full blow for this one, even though he probably wouldn’t notice a thing. Once she successfully got it open, she stepped inside. Her sparking orbs filled with mischief as her eyes scanned the endless shelves for whatever seemed fancy to her. She wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of alcohol anyway, she usually just drank what looked pretty but it was tough when it there was dim lighting. Annabelle ended up picking out a bottle of bubblegum flavoured vodka, an apple spirit and a bottle of Chardonnay. Taking them right from the back she hoped that she’d be home free.
Creeping back to Jacey with her hands full she handed a bottle to Jacey to carry seeing as she wasn’t the most coordinated person. “Let’s go back to my room, I didn’t know what you would like so I’m hoping one of the three will float your boat,” Annabelle hoped as she started to walk next to Jacey. Just to think Annabelle was the one about to nervously throw up before she even met up with Jacey and now she was stealing alcohol. Once she figured out what she’d done tomorrow she’d pay for all the alcohol most likely — that was if a bill wasn’t being sent to her room before then.
Well, you’d have to be pretty dumb to get yourself kidnapped by a snowman. And I’ve been good and all…how about yourself? I feel like we haven’t talked in ages.
Maybe is has like super strength as well as super freeze? Glad to hear it. I’ve been okay. I agree, obviously we need to fix that. But how are things going between you and Blair?

Effortlessly gliding towards the wall, the sandy haired girl rested her arms over the sides of the pool, her head tilted back slightly as she attempted to push the water from her ears. The splashing sound of another body approaching her caused her to glance to her side, her own silver blue orbs meeting the entrancing emerald green ones as a light chuckle managed to escape her lips at Annabelle’s competitive comment. “Maybe, but actions speak louder than words.” She replied with a slight smirk, the small wave of water that hit over her face evoking another giggle to sound. After playful gasp, the slim figured girl pushed her own hands through the water, her own current of pool water now on it’s way to wash over the darker haired girl. It was unexpected that Jacey, of all people, would be the one to actually be having fun with Annabelle, the two people who were sure to be the most contrasting. As surprising as it was, the warm feeling in the golden haired girl’s abdominal and the content smile decorating her face was something that felt way too good, too natural, to question.
The request to hold the girl’s legs as she attempted an under water handstand was just another request that left Jacey with a smile over her lips. She stepped back a small space, her eyes observing the fair skinned girl as her head and most of her torso disappeared under the water line and left a blurred dark colored cluster in it’s place. Once the two legs transpired from the pool again, the honey haired girl stepped in closer again to take a gentle hold of them; the smile over her lips growing in the slightest once the girl began to wiggle her limbs, signaling for them to be dropped again. It was ironic really, how being with Asher’s sister assisted Jacey to stop thinking about her relationship and focus on herself, focus on having fun. The forest green eyes, the button like nose, the round, filled out lips, so many assets that the two siblings shared and still, there wasn’t a single troubling thought running through the young female’s mind. No Asher. No Sterling. No Blair. No Kassidy. No thoughts of self pitty. Nothing. It was herself and Annabelle swimming in a pool they had all to themselves, nothing to worry about— nothing to dread on; and Jacey couldn’t have felt more comfortable with herself.
“But goggles make everyone look like fruit flies or something.” Jacey joked, an amused giggle sounding from her lips as she pushed herself from the wall, her head still above the water as the rest of her body was consumed with the warm temperatured water. Swimming wasn’t the girl’s favorite hobby, but it kept her entertained and it always helped relax her. Especially when there was no one else around. Her thoughts would finally have a chance to surface and her hard, somewhat aggressive exterior would finally have a chance to be knocked down. She was more herself when she knew people weren’t judging, possibly the reason why she felt so content with herself in the ginger haired girl’s company. She knew Annabelle wasn’t judgmental, she knew that she hadn’t been one to write her off like most other people did. Maybe that’s what compelled Jacey to attempt to spark that friendship like bond with the girl, because she knew she would be free to act herself with her.
A soft ticking of the clock hanging on the wall acted as a reminder to keep aware of the time, as the pale orbs read the numbers the thin black arrows were pointing to; a soft breath escaped the girl’s lips. “Think you’re up for trying that hot tub now?” Jacey questioned, a teasing smirk tugging at the brink of the girl’s lips as she raised an eyebrow.
A picture of an synchronized swimming team — but with a twist, popped into the girls head. The top half of the swimmers were replaced by the tops of fruit flies, causing her to giggle. After she recovered from her eternal giggle she gave her full attention back to Jacey. “Hm, okay, but I swear if I feel germs crawling, I’m out,” Annabelle stressed as she jumped up to give her an easier outing of the pool. Sitting on the pool edge she self-consciously rubbed her arms — which to most people would look like she was getting the water off. But Annabelle was simply preparing herself for the germs that were about to come. If you didn’t know the wary redhead, you’d probably thing she has some kind of OCD, but she just simply hates other peoples germs on her own. Even though she has no problem keeping her limbs tangled with Connors for god knows how long each day. I guess it was a little different for her because she didn’t mind his germs. But other peoples was a whole different ball game. But there was no room for backing out now, if she could do a water handstand she could suck up her irrelevant phobia for one night and relax for once instead of fretting.
Lifting herself to her feet, she put all of her weight on one foot as she leaned to the left to try and get a better view of the hot tub. Annabelle started to walk towards the hot tub, complete with steps to accompany you in your spa like adventure. Taking small strides over to the corner where the hot tub was, she looked behind her to make sure she didn’t just abandon Jacey and she wasn’t thankfully, she didn’t want to experience this whole germ ridden tub alone. Soon Annabelle was resting her hands on the contraption peering inside, greeted by her own reflection in the cyan water. Only, Annabelle didn’t focus on that, she focused on everything beneath her reflection, checking if the anything was on the bottom surface of the pool edge. The last thing on her weird hot tub check-list was how clean the seats were. Running her index finger down the middle of one of them, she then pulled it back up to her face to inspect, luckily for her it came out spotless. The strawberry blonde stuck her hands in the water and swished it about anyway just in case anything was there. Now her clean journey was coming to a close she felt ready enough to ask Jacey how to sort everything out. Maybe the whirlpools in the bottom would clean out any unneeded junk. If you were to peg Annabelle with being scared of anything, freaking out over other peoples germs on a god-damn hot tub wouldn’t be anywhere on your list.
Turning to Jacey she flashed the bright orbed girl a smile as a kind of apology without actually coming out and saying, “Hey, so sorry for freaking out non-existent germs in a perfectly clean hot tub,” She thought it was better to just smile and pretend nothing happened. “So, how does this thing work? Is there a button you press? Or do you sit down and it like senses your there so starts up?” Annabelle pondered out loud, realizing she probably sounded like a bit of an idiot to the experienced girl by her side. But I guess it wasn’t entirely her fault, it’s not like the thing had a huge instruction packet next to it for first timers — or even those sticky labels you get on a lot of things with instructions on. Either way she was just going to let Jacey take control from here. Annabelle braced herself for whatever loud noise would follow, she expected some kind of hum but anything could of happened, it was the getting relaxed part that was going to be most challenging for the redhead, but with the confident girl by her side she was sure it’d all go out of the window. Jacey seemed to have that effect on her lately.
It’s too quiet around here- sort of like everyone died, or something.
Obviously the snowman that lives behind the resort has gone on another kidnapping spree, ha. How have you been, Landon?

The warm, over enthusiastic embrace wasn’t an action the typically written off girl was expecting. Her figure stayed motionless, her mind left to process the younger girl’s actions as she’d already began to move gracefully disappear behind the changing room’s doors. The affectionate gesture, as simple as it may have been, had seemingly become something so foreign to the honey haired girl still standing in that same spot. Her thoughts beginning to spill into her mind as if someone were adding milk into a bowl of cereal. The images of affection that she’d grown so far from flashed before her eyes; hugs, kisses, hand holding, cuddling, all things that she hadn’t experienced in what felt like forever. Other than occasional hook up, which often lead to so much more, with Chase; Jacey had been deprived of near any act of affection. The doubts lingering in her mind about her current place in the relationship she held with Asher was one thing she knew she shouldn’t bring up to the cardinal haired girl she noticed walking from the changing rooms and in her direction. A soft breath escaped her lips as she pulled her thoughts together again, pushing them into the back of her mind as she shut her eyes for a short second. If this girl was good at anything— it was putting on a brave face.
“Ravishing.” Nodding her head, the long haired girl watched as the familiar faced girl took her time slipping into the pool. The water was never too cold, Jacey would know seeing as her shifts always ended at six o’clock, leaving her the rest of the days to do whatever it is she pleased. Seeing as she didn’t have the interest of skiing lonesome and naps weren’t necessarily her forte, she spent a lot of her time in the hot tub. Relaxing. It might be a bit crowded sometimes, but the high temperature of the water and the soothing bubbles shooting from the jets, gently massaging her sore, tired limbs was always something she would look forward to. The obnoxious laughter of children jumping into the pool or the sounds of their quick paced footsteps were more of a faded hum as she’d slip into her own, zoned out mind filled with nothing but her own thoughts. A place much like the zone she was beginning to slip into now, only instead of the worrisome, slightly depressing thoughts, they’d be happy ones. Thoughts that caused the girl to mentally smile at herself, reminding her of nothing but the good in life, which would all eventually disappear once she’d snapped from her day dreams and faced reality again. Then again, it was always nice to get away from it all for a while, if it was only temporary.
As much as Jacey would normally allow herself to fall into the lagoon of self pity she’d so easily made for herself, it was nearly impossible to with the enthusiastic, chiming bell like voice of the girl splashing around in the slightly warmer than room temperatured water a mere five feet away. “You have to go under the water, silly.” She chuckled, a slight smile gracing her lips as she stepped closer to the wall of the pool stating how deep the water, three feet at the place she was standing now, but as the pool widening it would eventually reach nine. Balancing herself on the edge of the pool, she traced the cement lines with the ball of her feet, her eyes trained on the small space in front of her as she held her arms out, smiling to herself before tuning once she’d reached the end point of the pool, the deepest spot possible. Without another word, she raised her hands over head head, one hand over top the other and pushed her feet from the floor, ending with a perfect dive into the water. Her long waves of golden hair seemed to glide as she swam through the water until she reached an appropriate distance from the girl with the same eyes as Asher’s. A somewhat captivating emerald green color that Jacey had become so familiarized with.
“Are you gonna swim or what?” Her tone playful as she flashed a bright, friendly smile towards the girl who’d made her feel as if she might have more to offer to someone other than sex or a label. “I’ll race ya.” She added, before disappearing under the water and swimming around the girl, already on her way to victory at the shallow part of the pool’s wall.
“I’m getting to that!” Annabelle declared with a grin as her eyes locked onto the middle region of the pool. She then inhaled and emerged under the water, making large strides with her hands in front of her, pushing the water away from her, as if she was making a path in the water to make her journey run a little smoother. As Annabelle reached her destination, she came up for a breath of air. Her usually fiery red hair changing into a dark copper as the water latched to her hair, making it heavier than usual. Even though she’d been swimming before she now started to understand why Jacey enjoyed it so much. Even though you are only under the water for a short amount of time, it’s so peaceful and easy to let your thoughts over come you. For once the redhead relaxed without a book, she completely forgot about everything else. She just let the thoughts about her and Connor overcome, she didn’t even know if they were good or bad. It’s not likely that they would ever stop becoming friends — no matter what happens, it’s just that now she’s starting to feel a bit used and if she is then Connor is bound to be too. It seems that this little midnight adventure took a bit of a toll on both of the girls — but in a good way. Sometimes it’s nice to get away and think about things.
Snapping out of her daze when she noticed Jacey out of the corner of her eye. Giving the honey-blonde her full attention she positioned herself so she could see exactly what she was about to do. Watching her slender figure hit the water in an almost perfect dive made Annabelle erupted with shot cheers, clapping her hands softly, still wary that somebody might hear her. For the first time in forever she mentally thanked Asher for dating someone like Jacey as a pose to somebody like Blair. Annabelle didn’t have much against Blair apart from how terribly annoying she is, always thinking shes better than everybody else. And the way shes leading on Landon just wasn’t something she wanted to get into. Where as Jacey might of made some mistakes in her time but doesn’t everybody? Flashing the girl a smile in response to her challenge from across the pool, she replied “Deal,” before heading back underneath the water, determined to beat the seemingly more athletic girl already yards in front of her. Kicking her feet as fast as she could without making those huge splashes that a toddler learning to swim makes, she pushed herself through the water until she reached the side of the pool — which was acting as a finish line.
Popping her head out beneath the surface she noticed Jacey was already there, the water around her rippling slightly from Annabelle’s entrance. “I’ll get you next time, Daniels,” Annabelle joked as her hand moved from her side to the surface of the water, splashing water in the direction of Jacey, then retreating to her side to give her a head start if the honey-blonde decided to return the splash. Suddenly Annabelle remembered something on her imaginary bucket list that seemed to have no end. “Hey, Jacey, hold my legs while I try and attempt one of those fancy handstands under water, please?” she asked, almost beaming with the thought of doing something classed as cool for a change. Not even remembering why she put it on her list of things to do, Annabelle swam in front of Jacey. Keeping some kind of a distance for two reasons, one; not to kick her in the face by accident and two; so some of her legs were actually visible, she didn’t think it was smart to attempt doing one when they were in the deep end already. Swimming down to the bottom of the pool, Annabelle placed her hands delicately at the bottom of the pool in a position she could hold without feeling uncomfortable. She then put all her weight on her hands and hoisted herself up so her legs were as straight as possible so Jacey didn’t have a problem holding them above the surface.
Her orbs were forced to close as they started to sting underneath the water from the chlorine so she wiggled her legs above the surface as a way of letting Jacey know that it was okay to let them go. Coming back up from the pool bottom she let out shallow breathes as she rubbed her eyes from all the chlorine. “Well, I see why synchronized swimmers wear those goggle things now.” Annabelle half laughed as she blinked a few times to regain her normal eyesight.
The cold makes it even better, in my opinion. Well that’s good that it saved you, Belle. Wouldn’t want that pretty little face of yours getting hurt.
It makes my fingers numb and I like, well y’know knowing they are still attached. Aw bless, I quite like my face being in tacked too, ha. So what’s up with you?

It’d be a pity if you disliked it though. But I can’t imagine why anybody would. It’s cold though, that’s the only downside. It’s saved me from hurting myself so many times, I can’t even fathom it anymore.

Long, golden locks of wavy hair hung naturally over the bare, lightly tanned shoulders of Jacey Daniels. The solid black bathing suit was nothing spectacular, but the amount of skin it allowed to be shown off was more than jaw dropping. In the dimly lit room, the fresh faced girl’s eyes wandered back to the body length mirror hanging on the door of one of the closets, her slender legs and toned stomach would catch anybody’s attention; young or old, boy or girl. It attracted attention and attention is always what Jacey strived for. Flipping the light switch off, the bright eyed girl turned on her heel to grab the towels she’d pulled aside for her trip to the pool, also grabbing the elaborately wrapped box she’d had the spark of an idea to add into the plans; a surprise for the strawberry blonde she’d considered to be something of an acquaintance to her. Well, that might be a bit of an understatement, seeing as the girl was not only Ashton’s sister, but one of the very few females that the blonde could tolerate for more than two seconds. She was someone that, to Jacey, was trustworthy. Friend may be a better suited title.
The darkened hallways created somewhat of a enthralling atmosphere to the fragile framed girl. As if someone was always lurking around the corners she would soon turn, or there was a quiet stalker following in her previous footsteps. The feeling of being watched or followed would normally cause others to be paranoid or feel uncomfortable, but to Jacey it was gratifying. It was a mere twenty minutes past midnight when the caramel haired girl heard the pitter patter of footsteps creeping from the same hallway she’d come from a mere five minutes ago. Seeing as there was nobody else, not even a janitor or employee, not even a mouse. They were completely alone on the north east side of the resort and there was nobody to stop them. “I brought you a little present.” She smirked, holding the box out for the obviously more thrilled partner in crime she’s planned to meet up with, her perfectly polished fingers only pulling back from the box once she knew the girl had a good grip on it.
“No worries.” She replied with ease, flashing a slight smile before gesturing for the light haired girl to follow her towards the pool doors, her captivating blue orbs scanning her surroundings before pulling the door open. The powerful scent of chlorine was the first thing to hit the girls, causing a pleased grin to tug over the brinks of Jacey’s lips. Once Annabelle had stepped into the pool area, she allowed the door to shut and took a gentle hold onto the coral haired girl’s wrist, pulling her to the side of the pool where there was no glass door. It was as if they weren’t visible at all. “I know you’re wearing a bathing suit already, but open the box I gave you. There’s a sexy lil’ number in there for you.” She whispered, her voice not as quiet as it should be, but still not loud enough for anyone else to hear, anyone aside from Annabelle. “I ruined the surprise, didn’t I?” She muttered, mentally scolding herself for speaking about a gift until the intended receiver had opened it. “Well hurry up and open it so we can get to swimming. Time’s a wasting, you know.” She added, sauntering to the towel racks to hang up the towels as she left the emerald eyed girl alone to see what exactly it was that was hidden beneath the lid of the box.
Taking the box from Jacey’s slim fingers forced the girl to raise an eyebrow at the seemingly excited female in front of her. What on earth could Jacey want to give to her? Knowing her it would probably be a snake or something and she’d yell out Surprise, and inform the redhead that it’d be joining them on their adventure. Not wanting to open it before the honey-blonde told her to. She kept the lid on the box and followed her into the pool area. Annabelle thought it was really nice of Jacey to get her something, even if it was going to potentially scare the life out of her. It definitely lightened her mood even though she was wary with what the box had in store but it’d probably add to the midnight adventure. Walking into the pool area, Annabelle looked around, acting as if she’d never been in here before. It wasn’t entirely true but she’d never actually swam in here before. She remembers sneaking into the pool changing rooms for a quick make out session with Connor on a break one time, but she didn’t really take notice of the surroundings. Coughing slightly at the force of the chlorine she allowed Jacey to pull her to the side, hoping she was finally allowed to open up the mystery box.
Much to Annabelle’s delight that’s exactly what she was about to get to do. Annabelle held out the box out in front of her, as far away as possible — just in case. She was about to open it before a feeling of relief washed over the nervous redhead. Jacey informed her it was just a swimsuit, which was anything to go buy, a pretty fancy one at that. As she watched Jacey walk away, she brought the box back to her and opened the box, putting the lid on the bottom of the box so she could admire it better. Inside the neat box laid a fuschia bathing suit that could probably stop the traffic. It was so elegant, yet wild too — a lot like Jacey actually. Taking it out of the box fully to reveal all its glory, she redhead noticed the sides were cut out, only a wrist width piece of fabric were connection the bottom and top together. Smiling at the bathing suit, to herself — or maybe both she hung it over her arm and went started to walk in the same direction that Jacey headed off into. When the redhead spotted her tending to the towels, everything went out the window for Annabelle. She just went up and hugged the honey-blonde, which was weird, but she didn’t regret it. “Thank you so much, Jacey. We’ll swim in a second, I just wanna change,” Annabelle promised as she made her way to the changing rooms.
Sure it was just a bathing suit, and she was probably acting like she just got given a real diamond or something. But it was probably one of the nicest surprises she’d ever received. Walking into a changing booth, she hung up the fuschia bathing suit. Then she took off the top layer of her clothes, leaving her in what seems to be a tatty white bikini — compared to her new bathing suit anyway. Slipping it off she carefully changed into the loud one hanging next to her.
